FD Scoob

Had my first scoob for a month and the car runs great. It is a S plate UK car with 40k genuine. However i can sometimes smell engine fumes inside the car. Its not fuel and its not a burning type smell but more like a general rich exhaust type smell (hard to explain). It does this both when pottering around town at 15-20k revs and also when having a play. I went over a speed bump today and as the front of the car went up it came through (if that means anything to anyone . Thanks.

A couple of wild stabs in the dark, maybe check that the access cover for the fuel pump is in place (in boot behind off side rear seat under carpet). Also have you tried moving the air flow slider **** (near the fan speed control switch) to the non fresh air position, this might help in diagnosing if the smell comes from the under the bonnet.
