Default Fuel pump?

Hi, i have a my94 2000 turbo awd wagon.I am told that the fuel pump has died, what kind do i need and were is the best place to get it from? thanks, Ferret.

I think the uprated Walbro pumps are actually cheaper (and better) than the official Subaru ones. I got mine for £65 via ebay from America but you take a chance that way as you don't get a warranty etc. Part numer GSS341 is for classic models, GSS 342 if for the "newage" models.

I was once told my fuel pump was dead and bought a new one.... turned out to be an alarm issue preventing power to the pump. Just a thought incase its not 100% confirmed to be the pump at fault and you have an alarm with a fuel cut off.

same as above with my first scoob,couple of guys had a quick look and guessed it was the pump...subaru dealer had a look and found a problem with the alarm

Depends where you are based Feret but they are in stock at Powerstation and we could fit it as well if you like.

Cheers all. Local garage have it at moment thought it was an immobliser issue spent some time messing with that as the wiring has been hacked at.Now there thinking fuel pump . I wiil sort out my profile but im in n/e wales so your a bit far P,S. But thanks all the same as i may need a pump, do you do mail order?

Garage have confirmed the fuel pump has died taking the immobliser with it.So i now need a pump,looking around for best price posted at moment, if anyone has any ideas of best place to call please let me know.

Just been looking around and descovered a few people have had problems with the 255 due to over fueling.As i dont intend on upgrading anything else(fpr or a remap) can anybody suggest any alternitive pumps. My local subaru dealer came up with a price of £400(part only for oe.

The fuel regulator shouldnt let more fuel in from memory, mines fine anyway
