Default Damaged fins on tmic

I have noticed a lot of my fins are bent down. What i would like to now is this going to effect performance and can i straighten them or do i need a new tmic.

yes this will make your intercooler less efficient
just straighten the fins with a knife (takes a bit of time though)

use a tooth pick mate.

Tooth pick is best, or a wooden skewer. Even a blunt pencil will do. Just don't use anything sharp or metal.
