Best mappers are Andy F or Bob Rawle, Andy will travel (think he in scotland) for a small fee, first remap about £600.00 cheaper after that as you have the Ecutek license.

What mods have been done to the car?

Andy F charges about 200 quid - he might be cheaper if your further up North than Oldham - get a buddy to get his remapped and split the 200 quid.

Andys fees will be approx £600.00 if it is your first Tek3 map (you have to pay for the license).

If you have the license but you are asking him to map the car for the 1st time he will charge approx £350 plus vat.

Future remaps are £200.00 plus vat

Manged to get a cheaper deal with a "group buy" where five cars were mapped over two days.

I have an 01 WRX :

I wanted to save cash and didn't want to bother with exhaust swaps at MOT time. The car had a Prodrive WR backbox when I bought it 3 months ago, so I just fitted a 2 piece decat centre pipe/deresonated exhaust section and had a remap done 6 weeks ago.

The result - 273bhp on Optimax after Andy F remap and a car which (to me) feels genuinely quick rather than having good "hot hatch" performance.
The car's lots of fun and I must admit I keep blipping the throttle because it's such a laugh ! (I now have a radar detector ).

By the way, if you're going to uprate the performance I'd strongly recommend
supension mods too ~ I fitted Whiteline ARB and droplinks plus Prodrive springs. The car is now far superior to the vehicle I bought 3 months ago.

Hope this gives you some ideas,

Andy Mc

I would be well chuffed with that!

Will a TD04 actuator work with the TD05 turbo?
