Oil pressure on tickover (warm)

Oil pressure on tickover (warm)
I have a my99 type r with a link ecu and scoobysport system.
After the car is fully warmed up, my oil pressure guage shows it ticking over at just under 2 bar. I have searched and some threads indicate that this might be a big problem and that it should be ticking over at 2 bar minimum?
Occasionally the light flashes on the oil pressure guage (I've been told that the link is not very good at controlling the idling) so should I be worried or not? It's been like this since i picked it up, and that was a while ago! I took it to a well respected garage after I bought it, and they said the car was fine. Think I'm getting a little paranoid here
Everything else is fine with it, pulls very nicely and no activity on the knocklink apart from the rare flash of the second LED.
Thoughts please...
TIA

When my STi V2 is fully warmed up (30 minutes journey or more) the oil pressure drops just below 2bars. Had the car for more than 2 years now and no problems at all.
I hope I gave you some good news and you can stop being paranoid.
As an advice get rid of the knocklink as well and just enjoy the car.

Depends on the type of oil, how old it is and the revs at which it idles..
With my link on a 2000 model and on Motul 300v (15w-50)
and 1000 rpm idle oil pressure is around 3 BAR hot.

My 03 STi fully warm, on Millers 10/40 full syn shows around 25psi (1.8bar) at natural idle. If I raise the revs just a couple of hundred, it goes to 40psi (2.75bar)

when my 93 WRX had 10W-40 in it the pressure would drop to just below 2bar which I didnt like so I changed the oil to millers 15w-50 and now it sits at 3bar. both when fully warmed up and at idle.
so Im guessing its down to what oil you use.
I was told that 15w 50 might be too thick but in a manual I have from a UK car it states that 10w40 and 15w50 can be used the difference being what temperature ranges they work within and it shows that 15w50 works in all temps.
