Fitting a VTA one is easy, however, deciding that you don't like it afterall and trying to refit the recirc one is fecking difficult to get the bottom hose reconnected!! I don't have any knuckles left and have still had to admit defeat!

standard is best for smoother running, however if you do want to change it then its a piece of p!ss to do.
Best first mod is a decent panel filter which should give you a slight increase in power

Just fitted a Bailey DV26 Twin piston on mine (was told not to fit the single piston type as I'd have idling porblems) and it took about 15 mins, so yes it's a piece of p!ss.
As for filter I'd recommend a Green pannel filter.
(I have got a Blitz induction kit for sale - only done about 100 miles and even still got the box)
