Default boosting up quick and hitting fuel cut?

i recently had my intercooler off to access a blowing downpipe,i removed downpipe and fixed gasket but broke one of the studs off. i also removed a piece of induction cold air feed pipe from the inner wing as snorkle has been removed.
i have a dawes devive fitted too and was told it was set to 1bar. before i did the above downpipe the car would boost to 0.9bar no problem,no fuel cut.
since i had intercooler off and downpipe it noe boosts to over 1 bar and hits fuel cut,but it seems to boost really quickly without really taking off?
perhaps maybe just the drizzley cold weather recently?
any ideas? could it be downpipe leaking?

Probably not the downpipe, check all the hoses, sounds like pressure isn't getting to the wastegate to open it.
