Default Parallel fuel rail mod

I know this can be done very cheaply with a few simple parts, but has anyone done it that can advise exactly how its done? Ive got a fair idea....but kind of just need it confirming.

yes can be buy a flaring kit cut your rails off buy fuel pipe and some t,s and join it all up , would cost estimate 30 quid including tools needed to do it .... ish gazza

If your car has previously been mapped, and it had the cylinder that runs lean compensated for by adding extra inj duty than the others so it didnt run lean, would it need a remap after having a parrallel fuel mod done?

Just changed one last night...

For the mod you'll need a barbed T and a fuel rail adapter. Mef made mine. Will you be using the standard reg or upgrading to a SX? You'll also need fuel injection hose - 5/16??? I have detailed how to do it on my project thread (where ever that is now).


IIRC the Newage cars have a different configuration of fuel system so that would have to be taken into consideration.

ahh it seems you have the knack of removing the inlet manifold....something i have no idea about

Mine would be using the OE FPR.....

May have to pay you a visit in a week or so
