Default BPM 2.2 stroker kit

Has anybody used BPM 2.2 stroker kit (to suit EJ20 block)?
And is there any UK suppliers?
I found this website http://www.bpmsports.com/products/stro.htm

stroker kits are a waste of time....the theoretical displacement of a 2.2 is nearer 2.15....so the gains arent as massive as youd think....probably more cost effective to get a 2.33 or 2.5 built.

How do you work that out?

Most stroker kits come with bespoke, strengthened, high quality components and would provide an almost bullet proof bottom end if included in a rebuild. Hence why nearly all the high powered imprezas in the country are stroked.

Doesn't the CRD impreza use a JUN 2.2 stroker kit?

just saying stroking to 2.2 is pointless....as the actual capacity is near 2.15, so the actual displacement increase isnt that great.

Youll find most high power builds are 2.33s actually, which actually start life as a 2.2 block.

But the longer stroke gives you a torque advantage.

I believe the AIS car maybe running one of these kits as I emailed BPM ages ago about a UK distributor and they pointed me in their direction, just never followed it up.
