Hi everyone STILL new too the scooby world and thought i'd ask if anyone can give me ANY info, such as turbo, problems, ECU etc

I have a 1994 Jap import wrx, it has electric mirrors and areil (been told these are the difference between models?!? )

Were's the arial mate? If it's on the rear quarter it's an M reg like mine Even better it's 265 rather than 240 brake.

sorry mate they dont have 265 brake, they have 260ps(z4 ecu) on jap fuel so your probally looking at 240-250 bhp at max on a standard motor on our spec fuel.although you may have more if you are running 1.21bar boost,to achieve this you must have some form of boost controler or a ecu chip? as in standard for you should only be peaking around 0.9bar

The correct description would be 'C-Series'; a MY95 car produced between September 1994 and August 1995.

Its easier to just look at the number on the build plate. Starting: GC8A is a MY93 car; GC8B is a MY94 car and GC8C is either a MY95 or MY96 year car. A & B-Series cars produced 240PS and C1 & C2-Series cars produced 260PS. If you use decent petrol you should see smilar results here because Japanese Premium unleaded ptrol in '93/'94/'95 was 98RON the same as ours; 100RON fuel wasnt available then, its BBS-propogated nonsense (and Ive seen some fools refer to it as 102RON and higher which is total bollocks!).
