Hmm, i have a Z4 ECU fitted to my my95 WRX.....
Is that good/bad/normal etc ?!?!?
ive read a few posts so my understanding is the Z4 ECU is a better one than standard or is an uprated one fitted by subaru, feel free to enlightenme guys.....
i wanna convert my wrx back to run on regular, so am looking to get a uk ECU so i can swap between regular when im skint, and the Z4 for optimax etc when im flush and want more umph.
does this sound feasable ?
can a uk 4 pin ecu, say, 7d be fitted to an import with no problems ?
cheers all.........

the z4 variation fitted to your wrx is standard for late 1994 1995 and 1996 wrx's ideally it functions very well with optimax only , but i have know a few people with z4's run on 95 regular unleaded for long periods with out any problems, except a slight loss in ooooomph, iirc am sure that the z4 map is almost identical to the prodrive map of the same era, so u dont need to change about unless u r planning serious mods.
