Which oil for 4k change?!
Gonna do an oil change on MY98 V4 JDM WRX - can someone recommend a good oil to use please?!

What does Subaru recommend?
Whatever it is you could do no worse or better than using that!
At 4,000mile changes there is no need for Fully Synthetic or indeed anything over £15 for 5 litres!

Spend a few more pounds and do a 10k oil change using fully synth. I used to do these silly 5k changes, but to be honest Pete is right.
Use a cheap oil and do 5k changes, or use a fully synth and extend the changes to 10k.
Alot of people on here use silkolene pro-s or millers fully synth, I use the former and change every 10k.
