Wouldn't bother with an induction kit until you are at 350 BHP.
A well silenced decat (including the uppipe - 01 bugeye WRX has three cats) or sports cat exhaust with a sensible back box will keep it relatively quiet and unlock gains along with remapping.

Hi m8 i just fitted a k@n cold air typhoon induction kit to my 02 bugeye with ppp(prodrive performance pack) and notice a big difference, deffo feels like more torque and a bit quicker to get to the turbo kicking in.

Prodrive exhausts are nice. If it is just the backbox, I would still delete the uppipe and downpipe cats at least. Probably about £300 for both plus installation?
Induction kits are simply not necessary on cars on the standard turbo. Stick to what works and don't waste your money. The gains are either noise only, leaning out from reductions in airflow meter readings. At worst they filter poorly and suck hot air.

As John-Harvey say don't bother with induction kits, try a good up-downpipe with belmouth and splitter and porting headers!
STI I/C gives slightly better throttle response!
I have also wrapped my exhaust from up pipe to rear section including turbo with heat wrap but I am not sure how much this helps in your case!

Remap all the way - transformed my bugeye WRX, totally different car now (and no, you don't need a new ECU, an ecutek remap is perfect).
The only question is: Do you have a decat done as well

Decat doen't have to be a custom job, there are many brands that sell complete systems and ship to your door. Expect to pay between 400 upto over a grand for a full turbo back exhaust system. Ideally wou would want a 3" system, although for your power output a 2.5" will be fine . When you decat you will release the Impreza burble and wake the dead
Once remaped i should imagaine power output will be between 250-265bhp, but thats just a rough guide i stand to be corrected

To check the exhaust get under the car and see if the pipe are "straight through", without any bulges in them. starting at the back you have the backbox, then a centre section (OE pipes have a resonator in them), then a short cat pipe about 2 feet long (this may still have a shield on but nothing inside if it's decatted), then you're up in the engine bay so you may not be able to see........
Taking out all the cats will give you ~20-30bhp extra, with a remap ~70bhp extra.
