Default really fast one for you lot

where is the oil presure switch on a ej20 lump.
because i cant see it for looking. am i correct in thinking its in a silly place and the wire runs up from behind the cam belt cover.
(cant see that much of the oil pump as you all know.)

its between the powersteering pump and the alternator on the top of the block.

oh ok.

ok then where in the loom is it ment to plug in.
the three wires of the sensor are approx 6incl long but there is nothing within that radius for it to plug into

Are you sure your looking for the right thing?The oil pressure switch only has one wire!Where are these wires located,Below the alternator is the oil switch(1wire) and the crankshaft sensor(2wire)

the three wire thing is fitted just below the stamp that say ej20. which is in the middle of the p.a.s and the alternator

this would not happen to be a knock link sensor or some daft would it.
I AM NOT SAYING KNOCK LINKS ARE DAFT BEFORE I START WORLD WAR 3

i am thinking that someone had a gauge or something to messure the presure in the car that req'd this differant type of sensor

no oil light so then best get a oil presure sensor then. or even the other half to this mad little sensor lol
