Default Multiple fault codes - please help

I fitted a PSi3 Data Monitor today due to my CEL light flashing or coming on solid a few times in recent weeks.

I've been "hit" with the following codes and warnings in the short time I've been driving it this afternoon.

P0340 - Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction
P1301 - Misfire detected (High Temperature Exhaust Gas)

I've also had a warning and noticed that my car has peaked at 1.30bar boost - sounds high? It was mapped to 1.2bar IIRC. The EGT code was logged at the same time the boost bar hit 1.30.

I've also noticed the Knock Correction going as high as 10 degrees - is this normal? (I did have to put in £4 worth of 95ron earlier as I was running on vapour and all the garages were out of SUL. I've now filled up with SUL).

The cars seems to be running ok other than the CEL lights (and now visible ECU data ), although sometimes a bit lumpy off boost.

MY01 WRX, straight through centre, H&S bb, HKS panel filter, Walbro 255, ecutek remap (265bhp and 256lb/ft).

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Kev, I thought about giving you a call as I know you have a similar setup to me (ie. remapped bugeye and data monitor).

Anyone else help with these issues, particularly confirm the KC and advice on the boost?

Yes positive knock correction on boost is normal,Its when it goes negative you've got to worry,I was always taught when you have multiple codes the lowest one is likley to be the problem and more than likley to be causing the others. In your case p0340 camshaft sensor is probably causing the misfire and bringing the other code up

Hmm, interesting theory about the lowest fault code being the underlying problem.

Would a faulty camshaft sensor be likely to cause a misfire?
