Default turbo entry pipe

can any body tell me if a93 wrx turbo inlet pipe will fit my 96 sti with the 90 degree entry
if not has anybody got one

Yes it will fit.. the phase 1 inlet pipes are all the same horrible black concertina thingy! lol

yeah thats the one ,why would anybody make a pipe that goes in out like i dont now,
sill question will it effect perf

It is to allow movement as the engine is on rubber mounts and the air filter bolted to the inner wing originally.

A more smooth item would improve flow yes.

ah yeah movement i did not think of that, not good having split in it just were it goes onto the turbo,must effect turbo pressure+ false readings to the sensors,ecu

Yes the maf sensor will not see all the air the engine is drawing in.. ignition will be advanced further than it should be and it will run lean.. duck tape for the minute until you get a replacement.

i think my car is running rich as i have a walbro fuel pump but that may not make any difference, but yes duct tape i will be out there in ten minutes

have got loads of tape ,but do you think you can actually find any when you need it,its all in my van over parents
