Anyone no what benifits this rev/speed meter has or what it can realy do?

It's basically a monitoring device which displays, speed, rpm and battery voltage.
You can use it to delimit the top speed on imports aswell.
Apart from that not much else.... oh it has a stop watch!

But if you get it with the optional G-sensor, it is far more useful....
o-60 times
0-100 times
quarter mile times
bhp figures
g-force left to right, front to back etc etc,

Not sure how accurate it is, but would be handy if you were planning engine upgrades to check differences.
It also records all the max readings for future reference.

Looks quite trick, nice if your a gadget type person, i hope they have come down in price since when they first come out though... about 420 back then.... and there was better stuff about at that price.

I have one installed, its a nice gadget best thing i find is you can do in gear in times like say 30-70 in 3rd gear i get 5.1 seconds for this and 50-70 in 3rd for which i get 2 seconds. cost me £120 fitted so not too bad

Cheers, the car iv just bought has one in already. Banny do u have the G-sensor fitted or wud i need that to get them 30/70, 50/70 readings?

Yes i have the G-sensor fitted and it is needed to get 30/70 and 50/70 reading. I have a Power FC fitted along with the the RSM and it is plug and play.
