How much difference is there between sti v3 and v4 heads?

I have been offered a complete sti 4 engine and would like to know the difference between the heads, and how much affect it will have on performance as the car was mapped on a power fc with v3 engine.

I thought the heads were the same but the V3 had a slightly wilder cam profile.

Agree with Nathan.. cams are slightly wilder.. is you old engine not STi3?

Remove and compare and run the best set

Simon will you be okay to fit the injectors and fpr during the remap?

yeah shouldn't be a problem.

Your fuel pressure reg is held on with the hex head screws so comes undone reasonably easy..
