Default Testing a MAF with multimeter

Does anyone know how to test a MAF using a multimeter? I think the one on my car has gone its a 94 WRX just changed the ecu and think it could have uncovered my failing MAF as its really hard to start from cold and running abit rich. or any ideas where i can find the info I need to test it?

I was unable to find and info, i did check mine, i had just under 1v at warm idle and i peaked at around 4.6-4.7v full throttle, high revs in 4th i think. Hope this helps.
