First question is, WHY do you want to change from the Garrett, to a 20G ?

Correctly set up, I would expect the Garrett to out perform, or at the very least match the 20G.

Do you have the HKS kit ?

I would expect the map to need tweeking.

Can't you get the Garrett re-built, it would be a shame to down grade ?

If oil is leaking from a fitting, it can be addressed, if the turbo is whining, it needs to be inspected, so you know if it's a problem, and if it is, if it can be sorted.

If it turns out the Garrett is screwed, and will cost a lot of money, then it's worth considering the options.
