Default Malfunction Indication Lamp 02Wrx

Can someone help, the malfunction lamp came on while I was driving and stays on. I have recently in the last week had a stainless steel back box and a blitz induction kit fitted. The car runs brilliantly but I have this light on. I dont know alot about these cars, I have only owned this one for 3 months but still smiling with ownership. ANY IDEAS?????

Could be a number of things mate, there's so many sensors on these cars

My light came on and was found to be the cam shaft sensor, a cool GBP 140.00 to replace and fit (at my local stealership).

Only real way to get it sorted is a diagnostic check, another cool GBP35.00 at a Subaru Stealer.

Cheers,

Charlie

That's where I have no idea

It would suggest it's the case, If it started happening directly after the fitment of the Induction kit?

Over to someone with some more technical knowledge

induction kits have been know in the past to,"break" the MAF.My moneys on that.

As to what it might be exactly, the CEL, (Check Engine Light) covers around about 200 problems i believe,

Andy F has listed all of these somewhere.
