Thinking of getting a Sony Vaio PictureBook running Windows XP.

Is there anyway of connecting this to the ECU connector and monitoring Engine stuff etc via some software?

There is free software available on this http://www.tari.co.za/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl site you just need to get cable, [I ordered one from the states] detail also on this site. You should be then able to read and reset fault codes, data log also will at a later date be able to change all engine parameters Ala Teck 3 all for free!

I use it and Deltadash on my MY99 I think it may even work on the 98's too

the beauty of it is that it runs on a laptop AND a PDA and all data files log files are compatible with Deltadash anyway
No good for the autronic though LOL
