Car running to hot on the track
Been struggling to keep water temps down on the track and was looking for any causes solutions that I may have over looked. Temps hold steady for about 2 laps of say a +-4 km track (Kyalami in fact for those of you who know it) and then start to climb, at which point I am backing off which in turn quickly brings the temps down by the time I pit.
Car is a Sti9 running various mod's which include a HKS front mounted intercooler and a larger Radiator (MRT). Aircon has been removed.
No problems with oil temps running an uprated oil pump and a HKS oil cooler.
Ambients are high 35 -45 degree C it's summer here.

try cleaning out coolant system,
then consider using distilled water with some water wetter and see if it has any effects.
Long time back fmics were considered to be a problem for high water temps.
it is possible your uprated rad is worse!
put your heating on full blast in the meantime and direct the jets out of the window to avoid frying!

Thanks for the comments
was having doubts about the radiator but it is an MRT (Aussie) make and one would think they would know about heat management.
My biggest worry is that the pretty efficient intercooler is blasting very hot air staight on to the bottom half of the rad.
Put heaters on full blast! you must be joking I am already sweating like a.........
