Default No fuel pressure - 93 Legacy

Hi,

I have a 1993 Legacy (UK) 2.0 turbo which won't start. Has previously run fine and never has starting problems.

I went out last night and it started fine and when I went to start it later on it wouldn't start, engine spins over but doesn't fire at all. I have taken the fuel line off the fuel filter and there is no pressure there at all, even when I switch the ignition on and off which I assume would prime the system and therfore fire the fuel pump up.

I am not sure where the fuel pump is so if someone can tell me that would be a great help so I can see if the pump is getting an electric current to it.

Also, I have checked the fuses in the footwell but am not sure where the fuel pump relay is?

Feel free to offer any other ideas!!

Thanks in advance
Robert

Many thanks for your reply, found the pump and the connectors all look good and there is +12v on a couple of the pins on the connector that goes onto the pump so looks like the pump is faulty.

Where did you get your replacement pump from and how much. My local factors can get one for mid week for £300

cheers
