Question Misfire - smoke in the engine bay .... :(

Happily cruising along this evening - accelerate out of a roundabout in 2nd - sudden slight juddering (drivetrain - I think ?) carry on with level throttle - no judder - accelerate - judder. Hmmm engine.

Stop at next roundabout - hmm - smell of hot oil - engine firing on three - doesn't clear on slight acceleration - orange engine light starts blinking - no smoke coming our of back.

Drive very slowly back home (4 miles) orange light now on permanently - 100yds from home, engine suddenly back on four cylinders - orange light goes out - drive final 50 yds no misfire.

Stop - open bonnet - slight plumes of blue'ish smoke coming up from below the turbo - but nothing else.

Daren't start engine again

Verdict anyone ?

Management system - cylinder - engine ?

All comments/thoughts much appreciated.
