just get the existing ecu remapped - there are plenty of guys in here that can point you in the right direction. Give TSL (Keyworth) a call - they are local to you and should be able to help. www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk

So it can't be Apexi'd then? If so why have you fitted it?

The speed limiter is done with a cable adaptor and not an ecu chip

thats only if you have a jap car. if you use a jap ecu on a uk car the limitor is still on the ecu. theres some sort of sencer on the cable some were. i had a jap ecu before and used to cut out at the 112mph. lookerly, the older scoobs have a port for a chip ect in/on the ecu bourd.

Really? - Inside the ECU there is a chip holder(28pin)/space allocated for a holder where a 27C1028 chip can be fitted which 'can be mapped' or can be fitted with a variant to the single chip in a board form which 2 chips - these can be custom mapped

Cheers
