Dipstick reading-over full why?
On a classic, why does the oil read way above the max level. Ive been told they all do it, why.... Ive had an oil change and put in exactly 4.5ltrs, it still reads way above the max level

I have found the best way is to pull the dip stick out, wipe it, and leave it out for 5 mins to let the oil that was dragged up the tube run back out.
You should then get a clear indication.
