Default Dip Stick Reading

This my seem like a strange question but i can never get a true reading from the dip stick. I use Pro S oil, and it always seems to stick in the pipe. so can never get a true reading... anyone have any problems like this??

Is there anything i can do? I always test it when it's cold and still the same.

Thanks
G.

Yes i think there all the same,I've read if you blow down the pipe using a length of pipe this will blow the oil down so a good reading can be obtained

im having exact same problem, i know there must be enough oil in my classic but the dip stick never gives a convincing reading, thats if it picks up any oil at all.
