ANY ADVICE ON STEAM CLEANING MY ENGINE ANYONE AD ANY EXPERIANCE WITH THIS METHOD?
Hi recently bought myself a 00model impreza hopefuly have some pics posted soon! But to be honest the engine is looking a little worse for wear so ive heard about steam cleaning it! Has anyone done this to there impreza? My main worry with this is that it might knock a cable loose or something am i just being to over cautious? Any advice would be appreciated cheers!!!

steam cleaned my engine a couple of times an it comes up great. think its best to leave it running and avoid direct spraying of electrical components. also a word of warning, wen i did mine the force of the spray knocked a little rubber boot of the throttle cable by the throttle body which slid down the cable. so on my way home it jammed the throttle open which was scary! other than that shouldnt have any problems
