!!! looks like the cooling fins are a little blocked up

an STI7 or later intercooler can be wedged in with a bit of work.... better still. STIV is easy though

Wat did you do regards the bonnet in vent piece. As in old one angled to suit other intercooler. Did you put new shape bonnet on it??

Not cheap though.....may be better off getting a hybrid FMIC in terms of performance and cost.

Question

I tried a later model i/c on my 96WRX, the mounting points were nowhere near. Am i missing the something, or do i have to fabricate them?

I had to make up a bracket to line up with the I/C mointing point (right hand side of I/C). Made it from stainless steel so it wont rust when i hit I/C spray button .

@sti69 just same question as i asked above. Regards the inner black went piece that is angled on earlier bonnets and straight on later ones. Did you change to later bonnet???
