Question Engine mounts

Recently had the clutch done on my 94 wrx and was told the passenger side enigne mount was on its last legs.

Obviously im gonna get it replaced but was wondering what my options were?

1- standard replcement mounts

2- replacement mounts from a higher model e.g. sti/p1 etc etc are they any better?

3- aftermarket uprated mounts are there any and are they too harsh for road driving?

You may find that the STi/GRP N mounts are around teh same price if you shop around.

Give Mark@lateralperformance.co.uk an email, he will be able to sort it/them out for you mate at a good price

I have just installed the engine and gearbox modded mounts from Lateral.
Slightly harsher but nothing to get fussed over, but the whole engine /trans is so much tighter in the car, big improvement.
My car had Sti mounts to start with.

Very little difference, certainly less than buying standard mounts from the main dealer IIRC

The set cost me £170 delivered to my door. The gearbox mount is much much stiffer.
Tedious to fit the engine mounts, but the whole job is not too bad.
Graham.

Maybe there's scope for a group buy on this one..... ....if someone had the time to arrange it.....
