If you have been driving normally i.e. not racing on boost etc just turn off.
If you have been driving hard, fast then if chance do the last mile or two slowly this will give turbo time to spin down and loose some heat (reduced power less heat + cooling effect of still moving air through rad/intercooler).
If no chance to drive slowly than just idle for a few mins to allow turbo to spin down fully.
Hope this helps Jase.

I normally drive off boost a few miles from my destination then let it idles for half a min, and let it warm up properly before going on boost as well.

Cheers peeps, just been on my mind a bit as i dont want to mess the car up, little 5 turbo was told to idle for about a minute, but much appreciated advice, certainly take on board driving off boost for the last mile or 2, cheers
