Whats the best stuff for getting some life bk into the engine bay? Is there any bit that need covered up b4 washing?

Whats best products?

Wahts can easly and safely be taken off and painted?

Autogleam engine cleaner is the best i have used. Cover up anything electrical, and if you have an induction kit cover that aswell.

I second CD2, I always use it to prep the car for show and shine, the engine bay gleams afterwards, though it's a shame that the cleaner don't last as long as the detailing spray

WOW looks good! Was that just following instructions or did u have any special tips? i.e cold/hot engine etc.

Rock oil's water soluble degreaser is very good, as is 'Gunk' from Halfords (also water soluble).

CD2 is simple to use. Cover alarm, alternator, intercooler and fuse box. Spray on de greaser.Amuse yourself for 20 mins. Hose engine down. Lower bonnet and allow engine to tick over. Lift bonnet again and allow engine to cool. Spray on detailer. Stand back gasp in awe. Take pics and post on here. Easy...
