93 wrx ecu
can anyone tell me what ecu i should have in my93wrx jdm. and how to identify it(markings,numbers,codes) reason i ask is because scott t informed me its running higher than std boost.

Although I wouldn't treat that prova site as gospel, some of it isn't quite correct IMO i.e W9 is WRX RA.
Well all the Scooby WRX RA footwell's I've crawled into were.
All of the above run 11.47psi
Your ECU may look like a standard one from the outside, but crack it open and see if there is a chip or daughter board fitted in one corner.
If the screws come out easy it's a sign that someone has already been in there chipping. If their a b'stard to get out then chances are it's not. I can normally tell if it's been chipped before the lid comes off.
