fitting headers on classic
was all set to go on this,and after a good squirt of WD 40 i realised that all the original nuts on manifold heatsheild wont budge? do they have to be re-moved to get old unit off or is there a easy way?
think im gonna pay someone to do the job !
its a 95wrx im only uk owner had it 2 yrs,if any one in kent or essex fancy a go please pm me there is beer and cash waiting

yes they need to be removed to gain access to the manifold bolts on each side.I dont suppose theres any harm im cutting them off if you have a good set of tin snips,but that will leave sharp edges.You could always use a dremel to cut the nuts off

sod the dremel. Get an angle grinder in there and blast the bolts away

thanks guys but i got it fitted today,but missing a few knuckles now 
had to lift engine,cut bolts,bend brackets etc but i got there
only prob now is i cant get old lamba sensor thing out of old manifold uppipe?the new headers have a hole for it but it is plugged up,so its running fine just drove for 45 miles and no probs nor did engine light came on but i never took it over 4000rpm
is it necessary to have it fitted or will it be fine without it as i have no cats anyway?
