i have a 2002 wrx with about 370 bhp and when you take it up near the red line in any gear the engine warning light comes on but if you leave it for about 10 min and lock and open the car with the key it puts the light off any ideas wot this could be cheers MOMO

 

What spec are you running to get 370bhp from wrx please, just askin as this is same car/year as me.

i bought the car standard then fitted a full de-cat system,megan racing headers,560cc injectors,255 fuel pump,aps cold air induction,sti intercooler and a td05 18g turbo then got a custom remap momo

 

any ideas how the engine light could be coming on. momo
