Ever consider a Subaru dealer ? They sell Subaru parts, and wrx coils are exactly the same as UK cars of same age.

I'm looking for a set of these too. From Subaru they are £56 + Vat each. There must be a cheaper supplier than them???

Anyone?

Well, people are reccomending GGR, when a Subaru dealer is cheaper, and slightly more obvious, and the guy hasnt even said he tried a dealer. It would be the first place to look, rather than other suppliers, who ultimately are going to be buying them from a Subaru dealer anyway.

Ive used Bosch MEC-723 coils before, as did several guys onSnet a few years back, very cheap from Oz. Others use the HEC-716, which is a higher output coil. Not sure of pricing, but they are probably good value too.
With either Bosch, you will need to mount them, alter some wiring and source ignition leads. They are NOT a direct replacement as per the original coil-on-plug type.
I got mine from www.ingram.com.au a few years ago. A search thru Snet might even throw up some info on the matter.

There's no reason why a new set of standard coils wont easily support 1.5 bar. In fact, a new set should be able to support more than that
