That's a very good question, wouldn't mind knowing myself. Is it for a water-injection kit?

no mate , i am just gona mix with optimax. i read on here somewhere that it can raise fuel octane by some 3 pts. thad would suit me cause then i think i could run about 17psi boost safely.

i also read here that methylated spirits can do near the same thing. just tested some tonight in my micra 90%optimax 10%methylated spirits and seemed ok.
micra had a little torque steer lol.

To get the best gains the ecu will need retuning with more timing added if you have an ecu that can be tuned.

Using 10% has worked better than a would of ever of thought. Its solved my crappy New Zealand 95octane fuel problem. I cant get any 98 were i live.

any speedway parts distributor has it.when i was racing i could only buy it a couple of gallons at a time though.havent got an adress of supliers.only thing i can think is get yourself along to your local speedway track when the season starts.n take a walk round to the pits after the meeting.always a parts van around ,and will have no probs getting it there. normally bout 4 quid a gallon, cheers pete.

thanks for info guys,

do you think i need renap for jap jdm 93 wrx ecu, i thought they ran about 17psi in japan with 100octane saki. i also read that my wrx has 280ps in japan with 100octane, but ecu learns knock values to this ****rys 98 optimax and detunes to 240ps. please help as i dont want to give it 17psi then rip a hole in a piston.

exellent about speedway guys(i forgot they were high octane nutters) i think season starts here in glasgow about march

You need to remap for AFRs too so if you do not know what you are doing and cannot monitor EGTs you could wreck your engine. Take care.

Yep methylated spirits bulk from a paint shop. It's 95%ethanol and 5%methanol and works great.
I cant get methanol localy so this is much more easy and it worked out cheaper.

25l is a large barrel...was looking for something a bit smaller and safer to store! If I can get a bit of interest from SN users I will ask JennyChem if they would split into 5l cans

i mixed it 2-1 to stop it freezing.on the aqua mist web site they say you can mix it up to 50/50....you need specialist equipment to mix it (two buckets).
www.aquamist.co.uk... .this is a good site to try

Handle and store with care.

Is highly flammable and toxic.
