Power fc and commander question
Just about to take my car in for brakes but I dont want the garage to mess around with the commander. Can I just unplug this and the car will still run fine, or does it need to be connected at all times to the power fc?

Hi Simon, would have pm'd you but thought you would be asleep at this hour!
Yes I unplugged it and started the engine and she's just fine. Memorised the mileage and also all the settings on the avcr so if they do mess about I can put it back to how it was.
Its awful not being able to trust garages even though they probably won't mess anyway.

Rev limit to 3000rpm - you can do it but it fuel cuts.. I wouldn't recommend it as it will possible det on hitting fuel cut although at 3000rpm unlikely to be must boost so probably not a problem. Just visions of you returning to collect the car with a large bill because they investigated why the car wouldn't rev over 3000rpm.. lol
