Question newbie help

Hi there

I'm currently looking into getting a 2003/4 standard WRX, and as it will be my first time as an Impreza owner I was wondering if i could get some advice on general running costs. It'll be my everyday car, doing about 15k miles a year. Assuming I don't go bonkers all the time (though having just been on a test drive for the first time I might find it hard to restrain myself !!) how long can you expect a set of tyres to last? If I have it main dealer served what is the average cost - but this will of course vary depending on what needs doing. What are the major servicing milestones, etc...

Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

these cars are brilliant, fast, fun and a joy to own. but if ur after cheap fast car this aint the one!

i have a my98turbo2000 and i get around 20mpg on average, 30 if i drive like a granny. but when u have so much welly, its very hard to hold back. servicing is not 2bad, depends if u go dealer/stealer. reg oil, filter changes and these engines last for ever, watch the rads tho, end tanks like to break! i do my own servicing and its not 2 bad. brilliant cars. im VERY happy with mine
