Would I benefit from a FMIC?

yes you will benefit with cooler charge temps, but at that spec its not required outright. you are only running a turbo thats o.e on jap sti's, P1 etc. upgrade to sti5/6 TMIC would be nice though.
5+6 are slightly different. The DV mount is the most obvious, but I have been told by a reputable mapper that the STI4's TMIC is s**t!!!. The V5 and 6 have a different core to the 4.
Agreed that STi4 TMIC is no better than UK97/98 and that MY99/00 or V5/6 is a little better.
If you are thinking of going for a bigger turbo at some point then I would go for the FMIC, if not then a STi 7 or 8 top mount should allow some more power to be made once remapped.

if you think in the future you may be looking for 350bhp just put a FMIC on and save yourself money and time.
