Loads of threads on this mate, and you won't get a straight answer! Should be fully synth. between 10w/15w - 50w/60w. Motul, Castrol, Mobil and Silkoline all have followers on here.

It's also what Oilman seems to recomend for most high performance turbo charged engines...

although others may do enough, personally would only use Motul or Millers Oils and have built and serviced enough cars over the years to know thses do exactly what they say on the tin!!

I would use either Silkolene PRO S 10w-50 or Motul 300V 15w-50.

With winter coming on the 10w will give better cold start protection though.

Cheers

Motul - it's the WRC car's choice or is it just the sponsor who paid the most - discuss.

Well, it is actually used by the WRC team, in fact I asked which one was used and Motul stated 300V 5w-40.

I'm sure that they don't pay for it but then again do you really think that the Mclaren F1 team pays for its "special" Mobil 0w-20

That's business but at least the WRC Team use a Motul product that's available to all scoob owners!

Cheers
