Default fueling and ignition when throttle off?

As far as I know ALL the fueling that goes into the engine stops when the throttle is fully OFF. So what about the ignition? I see the pfc commander shows some degrees on the screen. So does that means the engine contunies to ignite even there is no fuel in the cylinders?
