Default ECU Mapping 93WRX in the Yorks area

Can anyone recommend somewhere that can remap my MY93 WRX to run on UK fuel and make the most of the minor mods (exhaust, filter etc.) that have been added ? I am based in North Yorkshire.

Thanks.

hi mate you wont be able to map that specific ecu, but best bet is Andy forrest, will fit and map an apexi power fc ecu for £750, and he comes out to you....

mine is coming up soon and cant wait

do a search on his name and you'll see how highly regarded he is in his field and the quality of the result he gets......

Cheers, will have a look at his site. Having read a lot of stuff on here I am paranoid about detonation destroying the engine on the car I've had for about a month. On occasion I am convinced I have heard it pinking despite running Optimax+booster...

It's a 1993 WRX jap import saloon, assume the 240bhp version. I have only had it a short while, having dabbled with Mk2 Escorts for the last few years, totally different to these things !

contact scoobyclinic they can remap your ecu for a reasonable price and this will take into consideration your other mods

I have a 93WRX and had a scoobyECU fitted and mapped by Pat at Scoobyclinic.

I have a Green panel filter and full decat with 4" Revolution exhaust, came out at 270bhp and was less than the £750 quoted above for Andy F.

By the way I'm not knocking Andy in anyway as i have a lot of respect for him and what he does, just reporting my experience to give you an idea of what is available.

Thanks again, the place in Queensbury might well be the nearest for me. Mods are: s/s exhaust (cat still in situ), panel filter. AFAIK there are no other mods.
