Default removing the EGT sensor from up pipe

My sensor has failed and i need to remove it and bung the hole.
How hard is it and can it be done with out removing the headers and pipe?

if your "bunging" the hole, simply unplug and leave in place...............what year?? model??

if that's the case you need to replace it with a new one or get a "CEL" fix.............

i've replaced it twice it keeps failing can i leave the old one in place? a few people said i will have to remove it and bung the hole coz it can break up in the up pipe.

Best Idea is to remove it Lord Bass Mine actually broke and fell into the bottom of the uppipe I was very lucky and I got away with it if you do a search for egt cell fix you will find my thread on how I fix it

what size bolt do i need to block the hole?

i think its a m14 fine thread. I have a few in my tool box as i had to buy 10, but not 100%. Do you want me to send you one in the post?
