Not the neatest but simple and easy to reverse.

I wanted to find out the same thing today, so I did a search, and found the following:

...which I have ordered.

Cheers,
Jamie
p.s. search for 'commander' in title, many other threads of this type available

I pulled the back off a car air freshner and pop riveted it to the back of the commander.

Works very well, without the need to drill the dash board and never falls off.

If anybody is interested in the above bracket (that's my car in the pic by the way )..... you can have mine for a smallish fee . I've got a newer car now so have no need for it.

Tony.

I bought an Apexi holder, for the commander, from apex performance.
Not too expensive, in line with mobile phone holder prices really.

Clips to the vents, job done, keeps the apexi theme going too!

Mine is on the right of the steering wheel by the door. A bit fiddly getting round the back of the dash, but worth while, as there is no wire dangling about.

I also dug out an old mobile phone holder that cost arount £2 & mounted it in full view I've also now mounted the AVC-R below the ashtray with that sticky back velcro stuff so my car is starting to look like a jet fighter now with all the gadgets
