Default Turbo change question

Guys, need some advice please.

STi4 2.5 with VF22. Link ECU mapped by Bob.

I have just removed my MD304 from the blobeye, and the big APS top mount. Was considering fitting them both on Bob's recommendation, but I haven't been able to get hold of him.

I am guessing the bigger intercooler shouldn't cause any issues, but will she run safely with the MD304 or will she need mapping again. Appreciate that to get the best out of her she'd need the map tweaking, but I need a best guess as to whether she'll be safe until I can get to Bob, which could be quite a while.

Thanks guys,
Simon.

Depend on how safe Bob mapped it!

MD304 may be a bit more lively than the VF22 and you may need the boost control tweaking to compensate, especially as it gets cooler, if it's too frisky you will find the fuel cut quite quickly.

Fuelling may need a bit more in the topend and some of the transition zones.
