STi8 UK (MY03) lag !
Hello all,
Just out of interest, what would it take to reduce the lag on an MY03 STiUK, my car already has the PPP and I am happy with the power. It was dynoed at 305bhp/290ftlb with 110 miles on the clock, its now got 6 months left of the warranty....
My MY99 WRX was less laggy and just as quick, id like the same low/mid pull as it though.
The brembo's are ace, the prodrive suspension with whiteline suspension mods means it drives like it on rails.
Its just the lag that lets the car down.
BTW, why dont STi's have the 8000rpm redline and rear wipe any more?

As the maps also seem to be 3d, as in throttle position is taken into play, is it not unfeasable to have a more aggressive power curve with more low down torque on open throttle and still have a more economical fueling at small throttle openings, giving the best of both worlds.. This certainly is true when tuning fuel injected bike engines.
