Default Possible Turbo Problems :(

Just bought my first scooby (1994 classic import) was VERY impressed with it until the 3rd day of driving it....
When i'm just driving along then decide to hit higher revs sometimes I get total power loss and i mean TOTAL loss the engine just seems to cut out or missfire completely for a second then normal power resumes. when revs start building again the same problem occurs.
There is no smoke from the exhuast or dump valve
The problem is not constant but annoying as ****, some days its fine
Also the dump valve sounds rather harsh..not a nice hiss but a crappy rattling sound...Took it to pioneer in Hull, the guy took it for a drive, the damn car made me out to be a complete liar...no power loss at all. He also said the dump valve just needed a hose changing...changed the hose but with my luck still the same ****ty noise...
can anyone help or know of a local garage (Hull) who may be able to help me out ??
Cheers

Its fuel cut m8,do you have a boost gauge fitted ? if not fit one and you will see your over boosting, theres a few ways to tackle it do a few searches on here for "fuel cut/overboosting"and check out your boost first...
