Smile Scooby Burble Needed

Hi

Could anyone help me with some advice on exhaust systems??

I have a 03 Sti and I am looking for that Scooby Burble but I am not sure on what exhaust to put on and how much to pay.
I also need to know if I NEED to have it remapped

Any advice please as I don't want to be ripped off

Scoobyworld Ninja. Vortex is far too loud. I had a Subaru Scorpion box, that was too 'normal' sounding. The Ninja is the dogs bollox as far as i am concerned.
So:- Original MY03 WRX twin pipe box, pish; Subaru Scorpion 4" too quiet and ****ing expensive for **** all; Vortex too loud; Ninja - the dogs! LOL.

depends if you are looking for power gain or 'sound quality'

if you're just looking to increase the burb, as I did, then try and listen to a few similar systems. I went for the Power Engineering T75 Backbox, which I reckon sounds cool It's not chav loud, just a increase in burble, and depth of burble - technical eh?

For roughly £200, best mod ever

I would like a power gain as much as the noise.

Cheers

www.scoobyworld.co.uk

They have sound files in the Exhaust section of the site of both Vortex and Ninja.

Sorry missunderstood your question.

In that case no I don't know of any. But to be honest would be better to hear them in the flesh to get a real comparison.

Rich

That's OK. It was easily misunderstood

Like you say that would be the better option, though i'd feel like a bit of a sad teenager if i turned up to a meet and started saying. 'Can i listen to the sound of your exhaust mister' LOL..

I've seen a Firestorm & an Afterburner in the for sale section, but i'm not into anything that is too intrusive on long journeys. Not sure if either of them are right for me.. The Ninja sounds more like it should be my cup of tea i think..

But no-one has one for sale

Cheers

Yeah your probably right on that. lol

Just got myself a Fujitsubo bb and decat centre but its not load enough for me. Theres 3 that I would like but don't know which one to get. Either a Afterburner, Ninja or the daddy the Blitz nur spec mmmmmm...... decisions decisions.

If you find a site that does do comparisons I would be interested in seeing it.

Cheers,

Rich

Hi

I have a 53 STI as well and put a Scorpion exhaust on her - sounds perfect. Nice moderate noise when driving long journeys and lethal noise when your giving it to her. Would well recommend it. I got it for £320 but I think they usually cost £370'ish. Just punt your back windows down and let her at it!
